Job brief / responsibilities
  • Full profit and loss responsibility for all business in Australia and New Zealand
  • Providing positive and dynamic leadership to the team
  • Developing and implementing the sales and service strategy in the region for continued profitable growth and further market penetration
  • Further development of the solution supplier approach including sales of components in combination with service, training, engineering and consulting
  • Management of all sales channels including endusers, OEMs, system integrators & partners, and distributors
  • Annual budget planning
  • Tight cooperation with and direct reporting to the Regional Manager APAC in Singapore as well as to the German HQ
 
Requirements
  • Technical degree or degree in business administration with strong technical knowledge, MBA preferred
  • Extensive leadership and sales experience in an international, industrial company in Australia with documented success
  • Sound knowledge of automation products and system solutions (e.g. PLCs, sensors, robotics, services)
  • Good market knowledge of the Australian automation industry and its target markets (e.g. machinery, packaging, mining, food & beverage)
  • Entrepreneurial, result-driven personality with conceptual strength
  • Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills
  • Native skills in English
  • Trustworthy person living in close proximity
