Business Development Manager

Job brief / responsibilities
  • Responsibility for sales and technical consulting regarding calibration technology products with focus on temperature and pressure (e.g. controllers, balances and hand-held instruments)
  • Taking care of existing customers and key accounts as well as acquisition of new customers in EMEA with focus on Central Europe
  • Meet orders growth objectives within the assigned region
  • Provides leadership in consulting and advising the company in the development of applications, software and hardware for calibration technology products
  • Close cooperation with the regional sales managers and international subsidiaries
  • Direct reporting to the Vice President
 
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or degree in business administration with sound technical knowledge
  • Good skills in sales or business development of technical products to the industry
  • Experience with calibration, instrumentation or measurement technology
  • Understanding of temperature and/or pressure technology systems and applications
  • Highly customer-focused with good technical expertise
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability for traveling (approx. 50%)
  • Good English skills, German would be a plus
  • Homeoffice possible
