Job brief / responsibilities
  • Strategically developing the business of selected product lines, focusing on industrial communication for different segments
  • Laying the foundation for an aggressive increase of revenue within a market with a lot of growth potential
  • Expansion of key markets such as factory automation, automotive, and energy in the Americas with focus on the US
  • Analysing and developing of the US market and subsequent acquisition of new customers and projects
  • Establishing a channel sales structure through distributors, system integrators, and value-added resellers
  • Identifying new markets, potential customers, and promising applications
  • Close cooperation with the local sales department, acting as a promoter for the product line
  • Defining mid- and long-term business plans for the region
  • Reporting to the GM USA as well as to the HQ of the Business Unit in Germany

  • Engineering degree or degree in economics with sound technical knowledge
  • Strong skills in sales and business development of technical products to industrial customers
  • Good knowledge in the segments of factory automation, machine building, automotive, or energy
  • Sound understanding of market trends in the field of industrial communication, IIoT, and automation
  • Experience with direct sales and key account management, as well as with establishing and selecting successful channel sales partners
  • Entrepreneurial, result-driven personality with conceptual strength
  • Excellent communication along with strong analytical skills
  • Homeoffice in the Northeast or Midwest of the United States
